In Wednesday's league outing, the Palo Verde Panthers (Las Vegas, NV) basketball squad edged the visiting Canyon Springs Pioneers (North Las Vegas, NV), by a count of 79-72.

With the victory, Palo Verde upgrades its record to 6-12 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Liberty (Henderson, NV) to play the Patriots in a 5A Southern challenge on Friday, February 3.
