The Laurens Central Leopards basketball team scored 48 points and held the host Franklin Central Purple Devils to 16 in the Leopards league triumph on Wednesday.

The Leopards now sport a 9-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Schenevus Central for a non-league contest on Friday, February 3.

The Purple Devils (3-13) will now prepare for their contest against Milford Central (Milford, NY). The Wildcats enter the Section 4 Tri-Valley contest with a 5-11 record.
