Pennsylvania High School Basketball - West Scranton holds off Honesdale
February 1, 2024: Scranton, PA 18504 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the West Scranton Invaders (Scranton, PA) and the visiting Honesdale Hornets (Honesdale, PA), saw West Scranton's basketball squad hold off Honesdale by a tally of 44-39.
With the victory, West Scranton improves its record to 6-10 on the campaign. The Invaders travel to Wallenpaupack Area (Hawley, PA) to confront the Buckhorns in a non-league challenge on Monday, February 5. The Buckhorns come into the challenge with a record of 6-5.
Next up, the Hornets confront the Scranton Prep Cavaliers (Scranton, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, February 5. Honesdale will attempt to improve on its 6-10 season record. The Cavaliers come into the challenge with a 5-9 record after their 74-55 league loss to Scranton (Scranton, PA).
