The Shamokin Area Indians basketball team scored 59 points and held the visiting Williamsport Millionaires to 42 in the Indians non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Indians now sport a 15-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Jersey Shore for a Heartland I contest on Monday, February 5. Shamokin Area will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 70-64 league win over Shikellamy (Sunbury, PA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-12.

The Millionaires (3-12) will now prepare for their contest against Loyalsock Township (Williamsport, PA). The Lancers enter the non-league contest with a 18-1 record. In their last contest, Loyalsock Township ran past Southern Columbia Area (Catawissa, PA), 79-58, in a league contest.
