The Central Mountain Wildcats basketball team (Mill Hall, PA), was overwhelmed 83-44 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Shamokin Area Indians (Coal Township, PA)

The Indians now possess a 14-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Selinsgrove for a Heartland I battle on Tuesday, January 30. Shamokin Area will battle a Seals team coming off a 48-44 league win over Shikellamy (Sunbury, PA). The Seals record now stands at 10-4.

The Wildcats (10-6) will now prepare for their battle against Neumann Regional Academy (Williamsport, PA). The Golden Knights come into the non-league battle with a 8-7 record. In their last battle, Neumann Regional Academy was overwhelmed by Muncy (Muncy, PA), 59-52, in a league battle.
