The crowd at Saturday's league challenge between the Pyramid Lake Lakers (Nixon, NV) and the visiting Sage Ridge Scorpions (Reno, NV), observed Pyramid Lake's basketball team overcome Sage Ridge by a margin of 63-52.

The Lakers (16-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Smith Valley (Smith, NV). The Bulldogs come into the 1A West challenge with a 19-2 record.

In their next game, the Scorpions battle the enCompass Academy Explorers (Reno, NV) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 4. Sage Ridge will attempt to better on its 7-10 season record.
