Delhi Bears (Delhi, LA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Sicily Island Tigers (Sicily Island, LA), 71-13 in a league bout.

With the win, Delhi upgrades its record to 19-9 on the season. The Bears host Tensas (St. Joseph, LA) to play the Panthers in a 1A District 4 bout on Tuesday, February 7. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 8-12. Tensas won 46-39 in their recent league bout against Delta Charter (Ferriday, LA)

Next up, the Tigers play the Delhi Charter Gators (Delhi, LA) in a 1A District 4 bout, on Tuesday, February 7. Sicily Island will attempt to upgrade on its 0-12 season record. The Gators go into the bout with a 12-8 record after their 73-68 league loss to Block (Jonesville, LA).
