Louisiana High School Basketball - Delhi holds off Tensas
January 20, 2023: St. Joseph, LA 71366 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Delhi Bears (Delhi, LA) and the host Tensas Panthers (St. Joseph, LA), saw Delhi's basketball squad hold off Tensas by a tally of 55-48.
With the victory, Delhi improves its record to 14-9 on the campaign. The Bears host Delta Charter (Ferriday, LA) to confront the Storm in a 1A District 4 challenge on Monday, January 23. The Storm come into the challenge with a record of 6-12. Delta Charter won 57-35 in their recent league challenge against Block (Jonesville, LA)
Next up, the Panthers confront the Delhi Charter Gators (Delhi, LA) in a 1A District 4 challenge, on Tuesday, January 24. Tensas will attempt to improve on its 5-11 season record. The Gators come into the challenge with a 10-6 record after their 50-30 league win over Sicily Island (Sicily Island, LA).
