Louisiana High School Basketball - Tensas nips Block
December 29, 2022: Jonesville, LA 71343 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Tensas Panthers (St. Joseph, LA) and the host Block Bears (Jonesville, LA), saw Tensas's basketball squad hold off Block by a tally of 54-47.
With the victory, Tensas improves its record to 3-9 on the campaign. The Panthers host Sicily Island (Sicily Island, LA) to play the Tigers in a 1A District 4 challenge on Tuesday, January 10. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 0-5.
Next up, the Bears play the Monterey Wolves (Monterey, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 3. Block will attempt to improve on its 2-7 season record. The Wolves come into the challenge with a 5-5 record after their 67-61 non-league loss to Grant (Dry Prong, LA).
