Louisiana High School Basketball - Delhi overwhelms Delta Charter
January 23, 2023: Delhi, LA 71232 Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Delhi Bears (Delhi, LA) and the visiting Delta Charter Storm (Ferriday, LA), saw Delhi's basketball squad wallop Delta Charter by a tally of 69-39.
With the victory, Delhi improves its record to 15-9 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Summerfield (Summerfield, LA) to confront the Rebels in a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 26. The Rebels come into the challenge with a record of 2-10. Summerfield lost 75-35 in their recent league challenge against Gibsland-Coleman (Gibsland, LA)
Next up, the Storm confront the Delhi Charter Gators (Delhi, LA) in a 1A District 4 challenge, on Friday, January 27. Delta Charter will attempt to improve on its 6-13 season record. The Gators come into the challenge with a 11-6 record after their 54-39 league win over Tensas (St. Joseph, LA).
