Wisconsin High School Basketball - Superior topped by Esko
February 2, 2023: Superior, WI 54880 The Esko Eskomos basketball team scored 59 points and restricted the host Superior Spartans to 48 in the Eskomos non-league victory on Thursday.
The Eskomos now sport a 13-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to South Ridge for a non-league contest on Friday, February 3. Esko will battle a Panthers team coming off a 91-78 league loss to Deer River (Deer River, MN). The Panthers record now stands at 10-6.
The Spartans (12-7) will now prepare for their contest against Chippewa Falls (Chippewa Falls, WI). The Cardinals come into the non-league contest with a 9-9 record. In their last contest, Chippewa Falls prevailed over Eau Claire North (Eau Claire, WI), 70-52, in a league contest.
