The Gaston Christian Eagles tipped the host Northside Christian Academy Knights basketball team by a final score of 80-77 in Thursday's league game.

In their next game, the Eagles face the Hickory Grove Christian Lions (Charlotte, NC) in a NCISAA Metrolina game, on Friday, February 3. Gaston Christian will attempt to move on its 20-8 season record. The Lions enter the game with a 10-13 record after their 78-60 league loss to Gaston Day (Gastonia, NC).
