West Central Blue Devils (Maynard, IA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Tripoli Panthers (Tripoli, IA), 49-44 in a non-league bout.

With the win, West Central upgrades its record to 6-13 on the season. The Blue Devils host Clayton-Ridge (Guttenburg, IA) to play the Eagles in a Upper Iowa bout on Friday, February 3. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 4-15. Clayton-Ridge lost 50-43 in their recent league bout against MFL MarMac (Monona, IA)
