The Robbinsville Black Knights (Robbinsville, NC) basketball nipped the host Andrews Wildcats (Andrews, NC), 53-51 in Friday's league test.

The Black Knights (14-4) will now prepare for their test against Hayesville (Hayesville, NC). The Yellowjackets go into the 1A Big Smoky test with a 11-10 record. In their last test, Hayesville was tipped by Cherokee (Cherokee, NC), 85-63, in a league test.

The Wildcats now own a 16-5 record. They play next when they travel to Murphy for a 1A Big Smoky test on Tuesday, February 6. Andrews will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 51-44 league loss to Swain County (Bryson City, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 12-7.
