The Fort Bend Hightower Hurricanes basketball team (Missouri City, TX), was overwhelmed 53-27 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Fort Bend Clements Rangers (Sugar Land, TX)

The Rangers now possess a 27-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fort Bend Dulles for a 6A Region III District 20 battle on Tuesday, February 6. Fort Bend Clements will confront a Vikings team coming off a 55-44 league loss to Fort Bend Elkins (Missouri City, TX). The Vikings record now stands at 14-17.

The Hurricanes (15-10) will now prepare for their battle against Fort Bend Austin (Sugar Land, TX). The Bulldogs come into the 6A Region III District 20 battle with a 14-19 record. In their last battle, Fort Bend Austin trounced Fort Bend Bush (Richmond, TX), 45-42, in a league battle.
