Texas High School Basketball - Stacey holds off Sabinal
February 2, 2024: Sabinal, TX 78881 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Stacey Eagles (San Antonio, TX) and the host Sabinal Yellowjackets (Sabinal, TX), saw Stacey's basketball squad hold off Sabinal by a tally of 59-57.
With the victory, Stacey improves its record to 17-8 on the campaign. The Eagles host La Pryor (La Pryor, TX) to confront the Bulldogs in a 2A Region IV District 30 challenge on Tuesday, February 6. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 1-19. La Pryor won 35-33 in their recent league challenge against Charlotte (Charlotte, TX)
Next up, the Yellowjackets confront the Lee Academy of Science & Engineering Wolfpack (San Antonio, TX) in a 2A Region IV District 30 challenge, on Tuesday, February 6. Sabinal will attempt to improve on its 14-12 season record.
