Maryland High School Basketball - Clarksburg nips Whitman
February 2, 2024: Clarksburg, MD 21216 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Clarksburg Coyotes (Clarksburg, MD) and the visiting Whitman Vikings (Bethesda, MD), saw Clarksburg's basketball squad hold off Whitman by a tally of 39-32.
With the victory, Clarksburg improves its record to 12-2 on the campaign. The Coyotes travel to Northwest (Germantown, MD) to play the Jaguars in a non-league challenge on Monday, February 5. The Jaguars come into the challenge with a record of 2-10. Northwest lost 71-16 in their recent league challenge against Seneca Valley (Germantown, MD)
Next up, the Vikings play the Walter Johnson Wildcats (Bethesda, MD) in a Montgomery County - 4A South challenge, on Friday, February 9. Whitman will attempt to improve on its 9-3 season record.
