Iowa High School Basketball - Boyden-Hull nips Okoboji
February 3, 2023: Hull, IA 51239 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Boyden-Hull Comets (Hull, IA) and the visiting Okoboji Pioneers (Milford, IA), saw Boyden-Hull's basketball squad hold off Okoboji by a count of 56-49.
With the victory, Boyden-Hull upgrades its record to 8-10 on the campaign. The Comets host Sioux Center (Sioux Center, IA) to play the Warriors in a Siouxland challenge on Tuesday, February 7. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 10-6. Sioux Center won 50-47 in their recent league challenge against West Lyon (Inwood, IA)
Next up, the Pioneers play the Sheldon Orabs (Sheldon, IA) in a Siouxland challenge, on Tuesday, February 7. Okoboji will attempt to upgrade on its 5-13 season record. The Orabs come into the challenge with a 4-17 record after their 57-44 non-league loss to Cherokee Washington (Cherokee, IA).
