In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Hoover Vikings basketball team scored a tight 56-53 triumph over the Louisville Leopards.

In their next game, the Vikings meet the Walsh Jesuit Warriors (Cuyahoga Falls, OH) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, February 7. Hoover will attempt to move on its 7-11 season record. The Warriors enter the match with a 12-5 record after their 58-45 league win over Lake Catholic (Mentor, OH).
