The Mackay Miners basketball team scored 40 points and restricted the host North Gem Cowboys to 37 in the Miners non-league victory on Friday.

The Miners now sport a 10-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Twin Falls Christian Academy for a non-league contest on Monday, February 6. Mackay will battle a Warriors team coming off a 63-38 non-league win over Jackpot (Jackpot, NV). The Warriors record now stands at 2-4.

The Cowboys (6-13) will now prepare for their contest against Non Varsity Opponent (, ). The come into the non-league contest with a 136-256 record.
