The West Brunswick Trojans basketball team (Shallotte, NC), dropped 81-73 in Friday's league battle with the host North Brunswick Scorpions (Leland, NC)

The Scorpions now possess a 10-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to South Brunswick for a 3A/4A Conference 20 battle on Tuesday, February 7. North Brunswick will battle a Cougars team coming off a 59-43 league loss to Laney (Wilmington, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 6-15.

The Trojans (8-12) will now prepare for their battle against New Hanover (Wilmington, NC). The Wildcats come into the 3A/4A Conference 20 battle with a 18-2 record. In their last battle, New Hanover beat Topsail (Hampstead, NC), 72-39, in a league battle.
