Pennsylvania High School Basketball - North Pocono overwhelms Western Wayne
February 3, 2023: Lake Ariel, PA 18436 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the North Pocono Trojans (Covington Township, PA) and the host Western Wayne Wildcats (Lake Ariel, PA), saw North Pocono's basketball squad wallop Western Wayne by a tally of 60-26.
With the victory, North Pocono improves its record to 9-8 on the campaign. The Trojans host Valley View (Archbald, PA) to confront the Cougars in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 7. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 16-2. Valley View won 41-38 in their recent league challenge against Abington Heights (Clarks Summit, PA)
Next up, the Wildcats confront the Delaware Valley Warriors (Milford, PA) in a Lackawanna 2 challenge, on Tuesday, February 7. Western Wayne will attempt to improve on its 0-16 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 7-8 record after their 56-39 league loss to Wallenpaupack Area (Hawley, PA).
