Maryland High School Basketball - Mt. Hebron holds off Centennial
February 3, 2025: Ellicott City, MD 21042 The Mt. Hebron Vikings basketball team scored 58 points and limited the host Centennial Eagles to 52 in the Vikings league triumph on Monday.
The Vikings now have a 12-2 record. They play next when they host Oakland Mills for a Howard County game on Wednesday, February 5. Mt. Hebron will confront a Scorpions team coming off a 62-48 league loss to River Hill (Clarksville, MD). The Scorpions record now stands at 2-12.
With the loss, Centennial falls to 11-3 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Wilde Lake (Columbia, MD) to confront the Wildecats in a Howard County game on Wednesday, February 5. The Wildecats go into the game with a record of 10-4. Wilde Lake lost 61-56 in their recent non-league game against Marriotts Ridge (Marriottsville, MD)
