Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Carrabec Cobras (North Anson, ME) and the host Mountain Valley Falcons (Rumford, ME), saw Carrabec's basketball squad overcome Mountain Valley by a tally of 48-36.

With the victory, Carrabec improves its record to 12-9 on the campaign. The Cobras host Valley (Bingham, ME) to confront the Cavaliers in a non-league challenge on Monday, February 6. The Cavaliers come into the challenge with a record of 10-6. Valley lost 87-28 in their recent non-league challenge against Mount Abram (Strong, ME)
