February 4, 2025: Charlottesville, VA 22901 The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Albemarle Patriots (Charlottesville, VA) and the visiting Fluvanna County Flying Flucos (Palmyra, VA), observed Albemarle's basketball team overwhelm Fluvanna County by a score of 78-38.
The Patriots (18-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Charlottesville (Charlottesville, VA). The Black Knights come into the Jefferson challenge with a 13-8 record. In their last challenge, Charlottesville trounced Goochland (Goochland, VA), 55-49, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Flying Flucos encounter the Orange County Fighting Hornets (Orange, VA) in a Jefferson challenge, on Friday, February 7. Fluvanna County will attempt to improve on its 7-14 season record. The Fighting Hornets come into the challenge with a 10-10 record after their 65-35 league loss to Western Albemarle (Crozet, VA).
