South Dakota High School Basketball - McCook Central/Montrose holds off Parkston
February 4, 2025: Parkston, SD 57366 The McCook Central/Montrose Fighting Cougars basketball team scored 67 points and limited the host Parkston Trojans to 62 in the Fighting Cougars non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Fighting Cougars now possess a 8-7 record. They play next when they host Garretson for a non-league game on Friday, February 7. McCook Central/Montrose will confront a Blue Dragons team coming off a 50-40 league loss to Baltic (Baltic, SD). The Blue Dragons record now stands at 6-8.
With the loss, Parkston falls to 12-3 on the campaign. The Trojans host Sanborn Central/Woonsocket (Forestburg, SD) to confront the Rebels in a non-league game on Thursday, February 6.
