In Monday's league contest, the visiting Mt. Vernon/Plankinton Titans basketball team scored a good 56-46 triumph over the McCook Central/Montrose Fighting Cougars.

The Titans (6-14) will now prepare for their contest against Scotland/Menno (Menno, SD). The Trappers go into the non-league contest with a 4-16 record. In their last contest, Scotland/Menno topped Sioux Falls Lutheran (Sioux Falls, SD), 53-51, in a non-league contest.
