Ohio High School Basketball - Withrow can't hold off Taft
February 4, 2025: Cincinnati, OH 45214 Taft Senators (Cincinnati, OH) supporters left the game happy Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the visiting Withrow Tigers (Cincinnati, OH), 60-53 in a league match.
With the victory, Taft advances its record to 12-4 on the year. The Senators travel to Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy (Cincinnati, OH) to face the Eagles in a non-league match on Wednesday, February 5. The Eagles enter the match with a record of 14-3. Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy won 76-49 in their recent league match against Miami Valley Christian Academy (Cincinnati, OH)
The Tigers now own a 3-15 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Woodward for a Cincinnati Metro match on Friday, February 7. Withrow will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 92-61 non-league loss to Lloyd Memorial (Erlanger, KY). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-15.
