The Taft Senators basketball team scored 91 points and limited the host Hughes BIG RED to 80 in the Senators league triumph on Tuesday.

The Senators now possess a 1-1 record. They play next when they host Stivers School for the Arts for a non-league game on Friday, January 3.

With the loss, Hughes falls to 2-3 on the campaign. The Big red travel to Woodward (Cincinnati, OH) to confront the Bulldogs in a Cincinnati Metro game on Friday, December 20. The Bulldogs go into the game with a record of 1-3. Woodward lost 63-47 in their recent non-league game against La Salle (Cincinnati, OH)
