Illinois High School Basketball - Andrew holds off Oak Forest
February 5, 2025: Tinley Park, IL 60477 The Andrew Thunderbolts basketball team scored 42 points and limited the visiting Oak Forest Bengals to 37 in the Thunderbolts non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Thunderbolts now possess a 9-15 record. They play next when they travel to Lincoln-Way Central for a SouthWest Suburban game on Friday, February 7. Andrew will confront a Knights team coming off a 83-67 league loss to Homewood-Flossmoor (Flossmoor, IL). The Knights record now stands at 18-9.
With the loss, Oak Forest falls to 14-13 on the campaign. The Bengals host Agricultural Science (Chicago, IL) to confront the Cyclones in a non-league game on Monday, February 10. The Cyclones go into the game with a record of 16-9. Agricultural Science lost 63-45 in their recent non-league game against Lane Tech (Chicago, IL)
