Illinois High School Basketball - Lincoln-Way Central holds off Andrew
December 13, 2024: Tinley Park, IL 60477 The Lincoln-Way Central Knights basketball team scored 55 points and limited the host Andrew Thunderbolts to 51 in the Knights league triumph on Friday.
The Knights now possess a 5-3 record. They play next when they host Lincoln-Way East for a SouthWest Suburban game on Tuesday, December 17. Lincoln-Way Central will confront a Griffins team coming off a 65-37 non-league loss to Marist (Chicago, IL). The Griffins record now stands at 5-2.
With the loss, Andrew falls to 3-5 on the campaign. The Thunderbolts travel to Homewood-Flossmoor (Flossmoor, IL) to battle the Vikings in a SouthWest Suburban contest on Monday, December 16. The Vikings come into the contest with a record of 8-0. Homewood-Flossmoor won 97-30 in their recent league contest against Stagg (Palos Hills, IL)
