Lincoln-Way Central Knights (New Lenox, IL) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting Lockport Porters (Lockport, IL), 53-46 in a league battle.

With the victory, Lincoln-Way Central advances its record to 4-3 on the year. The Knights travel to Andrew (Tinley Park, IL) to meet the Thunderbolts in a SouthWest Suburban battle on Friday, December 13. The Thunderbolts enter the battle with a record of 3-4. Andrew lost 56-54 in their recent league battle against Lincoln-Way West (New Lenox, IL)

The Porters (4-3) will now prepare for their test against York (Elmhurst, IL). The Dukes come into the non-league test with a 4-2 record. In their last test, York held off Naperville North (Naperville, IL), 47-40, in a non-league test.
