February 7, 2025: New Lenox, IL 60451 The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Lincoln-Way Central Knights (New Lenox, IL) and the visiting Andrew Thunderbolts (Tinley Park, IL), observed Lincoln-Way Central's basketball team overcome Andrew by a margin of 64-51.
The Knights (19-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Joliet Catholic (Joliet, IL). The Hilltoppers come into the non-league challenge with a 13-11 record. In their last challenge, Joliet Catholic dropped by Saint Ignatius College Prep (Chicago, IL), 70-58, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Thunderbolts battle the Stagg Chargers (Palos Hills, IL) in a SouthWest Suburban challenge, on Tuesday, February 11. Andrew will attempt to better on its 9-16 season record. The Chargers come into the challenge with a 0-25 record after their 67-38 league loss to Homewood-Flossmoor (Flossmoor, IL).
