Illinois High School Basketball - Lincoln-Way East sneaks past Andrew
December 4, 2024: Frankfort, IL 60423 The Lincoln-Way East Griffins basketball team scored 60 points and limited the visiting Andrew Thunderbolts to 55 in the Griffins league triumph on Wednesday.
The Griffins now possess a 4-0 record. They play next when they travel to Lincoln-Way Central for a SouthWest Suburban game on Saturday, December 7. Lincoln-Way East will play a Knights team coming off a 72-53 league loss to Homewood-Flossmoor (Flossmoor, IL). The Knights record now stands at 3-2.
With the loss, Andrew falls to 3-3 on the campaign. The Thunderbolts host Lincoln-Way West (New Lenox, IL) to play the Warriors in a SouthWest Suburban game on Tuesday, December 10. The Warriors go into the game with a record of 2-3. Lincoln-Way West lost 70-56 in their recent league game against Lockport (Lockport, IL)
