December 14, 2024: Frankfort, IL 60423 Marist RedHawks (Chicago, IL) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Lincoln-Way East Griffins (Frankfort, IL), 65-37 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Marist upgrades its record to 8-1 on the year. The RedHawks host Marian Catholic (Chicago Heights, IL) to face the Spartans in a East Suburban Catholic match on Friday, December 20. The Spartans enter the match with a record of 7-2.
The Griffins now sport a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lincoln-Way Central for a SouthWest Suburban match on Tuesday, December 17. Lincoln-Way East will face a Knights squad coming off a 55-51 league win over Andrew (Tinley Park, IL). The Knights record now stands at 5-3.
