California High School Basketball - Center holds off Oakmont

February 5, 2025: Antelope, CA 95843

In Wednesday's league contest, the host Center Cougars basketball team scored a close 58-56 triumph over the Oakmont Vikings.

The Cougars (10-15) will now prepare for their contest against Colfax (Colfax, CA). The Falcons go into the Pioneer Valley League contest with a 17-8 record. In their last contest, Colfax nipped Marysville (Marysville, CA), 59-49, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Vikings confront the Bear River Bruins (Grass Valley, CA) in a Pioneer Valley League contest, on Friday, February 7. Oakmont will attempt to better on its 12-13 season record. The Bruins go into the contest with a 13-12 record after their 61-58 league win over Lincoln (Lincoln, CA).
