California High School Basketball - Center thwarts Bear River

The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Center Cougars (Antelope, CA) and the visiting Bear River Bruins (Grass Valley, CA), observed Center's basketball team knock off Bear River by a score of 63-53.

The Cougars (8-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Marysville (Marysville, CA). The Indians come into the Pioneer Valley League challenge with a 11-5 record. In their last challenge, Marysville prevailed over Oakmont (Roseville, CA), 58-52, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Bruins encounter the Mira Loma Matadors (Sacramento, CA) in a Pioneer Valley League challenge, on Monday, January 13.
