In Wednesday's league test, the Lakewood Leopards (Roseboro, NC) basketball squad trounced the host Neuse Charter Cougars (Smithfield, NC), by a score of 81-54.

Next, the Leopards encounter the Hobbton Wildcats (Newton Grove, NC) in a 1A Carolina test, on Friday, February 7. Lakewood will attempt to improve on its 16-1 season record. The Wildcats come into the test with a 7-10 record after their 70-56 league win over Rosewood (Goldsboro, NC).
