With the victory, Neuse Charter advances its record to 9-8 on the year. The Cougars travel to Rosewood (Goldsboro, NC) to meet the Eagles in a 1A Carolina battle on Wednesday, January 29. The Eagles enter the battle with a record of 5-8. Rosewood lost 59-41 in their recent league battle against Lakewood (Roseboro, NC)
The Spartans now own a 3-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host North Duplin for a 1A Carolina battle on Wednesday, January 29. Union will meet a Rebels squad coming off a 82-61 league win over Hobbton (Newton Grove, NC). The Rebels record now stands at 4-9.
