January 14, 2025: Roseboro, NC 28385

In Tuesday's league contest, the host Lakewood Leopards basketball team scored a big 83-37 triumph over the Union Spartans.

The Leopards (9-1) will now prepare for their contest against North Duplin (Calypso, NC). The Rebels go into the 1A Carolina contest with a 3-8 record. In their last contest, North Duplin smashed Neuse Charter (Smithfield, NC), 62-54, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Spartans battle the Clinton Dark Horses (Clinton, NC) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, January 15. Union will attempt to better on its 3-8 season record. The Dark Horses go into the contest with a 2-11 record after their 74-48 non-league loss to James Kenan (Warsaw, NC).
