The Linganore Lancers basketball team (Frederick, MD), was nudged 75-72 in Monday's league battle with the visiting Urbana Hawks (Ijamsville, MD)

The Hawks now sport a 13-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Walkersville for a CMC battle on Friday, February 10. Urbana will battle a Lions team coming off a 71-18 league win over Smithsburg (Smithsburg, MD). The Lions record now stands at 16-2.

The Lancers (9-11) will now prepare for their battle against Manchester Valley (Manchester, MD). The Mavericks come into the non-league battle with a 10-7 record.
