The Northern Guilford Nighthawks basketball team scored 67 points and restricted the visiting Southwest Guilford Cowboys to 18 in the Nighthawks league victory on Tuesday.

The Nighthawks now sport a 20-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Western Guilford for a 4A Metro contest on Friday, February 9. Northern Guilford will battle a Hornets team coming off a 65-61 league win over Grimsley (Greensboro, NC). The Hornets record now stands at 7-12.

The Cowboys (13-7) will now prepare for their contest against Ragsdale (Jamestown, NC). The Tigers come into the 4A Metro contest with a 5-13 record. In their last contest, Ragsdale was routed by Southeast Guilford (Greensboro, NC), 56-49, in a league contest.
