The Northern Guilford Nighthawks basketball team scored 57 points and held the host Southwest Guilford Cowboys to 34 in the Nighthawks league triumph on Wednesday.

The Nighthawks now sport a 13-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Western Guilford for a 4A Metro contest on Friday, January 12.

The Cowboys (9-3) will now prepare for their contest against Ragsdale (Jamestown, NC). The Tigers go into the 4A Metro outing with a 5-6 record. In their last outing, Ragsdale was trounced by Southeast Guilford (Greensboro, NC), 61-60, in a league outing.
