The Warner Monarchs basketball team scored 53 points and limited the host Leola/Frederick Titans to 40 in the Monarchs league triumph on Thursday.

The Monarchs now have a 12-6 record. They play next when they travel to Waverly/South Shore for a B Region 1 game on Saturday, February 8. Warner will confront a Coyotes team coming off a 46-31 non-league loss to Ipswich (Ipswich, SD). The Coyotes record now stands at 6-8.

With the loss, Leola/Frederick falls to 5-12 on the campaign. The Titans travel to Lower Brule (Lower Brule, SD) to confront the Sioux in a non-league game on Saturday, February 8. The Sioux go into the game with a record of 6-9. Lower Brule lost 73-35 in their recent non-league game against Crow Creek (Stephan, SD)
