The Central Catholic Vikings basketball team scored 65 points and held the host Butler Golden Tornado to 43 in the Vikings league triumph on Tuesday.

The Vikings now sport a 13-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host North Allegheny for a WPIAL 6A 1 contest on Friday, February 10. Central Catholic will battle a Tigers team coming off a 70-49 league loss to Seneca Valley (Harmony, PA). The Tigers record now stands at 8-11.

The Golden Tornado (15-6) will now prepare for their contest against Pine-Richland (Gibsonia, PA). The Rams enter the WPIAL 6A 1 contest with a 4-15 record. In their last contest, Pine-Richland was routed by New Castle (New Castle, PA), 72-51, in a league contest.
