February 7, 2024: Philipsburg, PA 16866 Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Bishop Guilfoyle Marauders (Altoona, PA) and the host Philipsburg-Osceola Mountaineers (Philipsburg, PA), saw Bishop Guilfoyle's basketball squad wallop Philipsburg-Osceola by a tally of 94-51.
With the victory, Bishop Guilfoyle improves its record to 16-3 on the campaign. The Marauders host Clearfield (Clearfield, PA) to confront the Bison in a Laurel Highlands challenge on Friday, February 9. The Bison come into the challenge with a record of 4-15. Clearfield lost 68-63 in their recent league challenge against Bellefonte (Bellefonte, PA)
Next up, the Mountaineers confront the Bellwood-Antis Blue Devils (Bellwood, PA) in a Laurel Highlands challenge, on Friday, February 9. Philipsburg-Osceola will attempt to improve on its 4-16 season record. The Blue Devils come into the challenge with a 6-15 record after their 60-49 league win over Huntingdon (Huntingdon, PA).
