Bishop Guilfoyle Marauders (Altoona, PA) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Penns Valley Area Rams (Spring Mills, PA), 61-32 in a league bout.

With the victory, Bishop Guilfoyle upgrades its record to 5-0 on the campaign. The Marauders travel to Central (Martinsburg, PA) to play the Dragons in a Laurel Highlands bout on Thursday, December 21. The Dragons come into the bout with a record of 6-1. Central won 51-47 in their recent league bout against Bellefonte (Bellefonte, PA)

Next up, the Rams play the Bellwood-Antis Blue Devils (Bellwood, PA) in a Laurel Highlands bout, on Thursday, December 21. Penns Valley Area will attempt to upgrade on its 0-6 season record. The Blue Devils come into the bout with a 2-2 record after their 40-32 league win over Philipsburg-Osceola (Philipsburg, PA).
