Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Penns Valley Area nudges Bald Eagle Area
January 8, 2024: Spring Mills, PA 16875 Penns Valley Area Rams (Spring Mills, PA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Bald Eagle Area Bald Eagles (Wingate, PA), 44-37 in a league bout.
With the win, Penns Valley Area upgrades its record to 4-7 on the season. The Rams travel to Philipsburg-Osceola (Philipsburg, PA) to clash with the Mountaineers in a Laurel Highlands bout on Thursday, January 11. The Mountaineers go into the bout with a record of 3-9. Philipsburg-Osceola lost 71-63 in their recent league bout against Clearfield (Clearfield, PA)
Next up, the Bald Eagles clash with the Moshannon Valley Black Knights/Damsels (Houtzdale, PA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 12. Bald Eagle Area will attempt to upgrade on its 5-7 season record.
