Penns Valley Area Rams (Spring Mills, PA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Bald Eagle Area Bald Eagles (Wingate, PA), 44-37 in a league bout.

With the win, Penns Valley Area upgrades its record to 4-7 on the season. The Rams travel to Philipsburg-Osceola (Philipsburg, PA) to clash with the Mountaineers in a Laurel Highlands bout on Thursday, January 11. The Mountaineers go into the bout with a record of 3-9. Philipsburg-Osceola lost 71-63 in their recent league bout against Clearfield (Clearfield, PA)

Next up, the Bald Eagles clash with the Moshannon Valley Black Knights/Damsels (Houtzdale, PA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 12. Bald Eagle Area will attempt to upgrade on its 5-7 season record.
