The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Cedar Mountain Cougars (Morgan, MN) and the host New Ulm Cathedral Greyhounds (New Ulm, MN), observed Cedar Mountain's basketball team knock off New Ulm Cathedral by a score of 74-54.

The Cougars (18-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Wabasso (Wabasso, MN). The Rabbits come into the non-league challenge with a 14-9 record. In their last challenge, Wabasso prevailed over Lac qui Parle Valley (Madison, MN), 68-65, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Greyhounds battle the Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop Thunderbirds (Winthrop, MN) in a A Section 2 challenge, on Tuesday, February 11. New Ulm Cathedral will attempt to improve on its 9-12 season record. The Thunderbirds come into the challenge with a 8-13 record after their 86-76 league loss to Nicollet (Nicollet, MN).
