The Riverside Pirates basketball team scored 73 points and limited the host Covington Buccs to 57 in the Pirates league triumph on Friday.

The Pirates now have a 6-14 record. They play next when they host Houston for a non-league game on Saturday, February 8. Riverside will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 69-37 league loss to Russia (Russia, OH). The Wildcats record now stands at 5-13.

With the loss, Covington falls to 6-15 on the campaign. The Buccs travel to Miami East (Casstown, OH) to confront the Vikings in a Three Rivers game on Tuesday, February 11.
